Titanosaurs were some of the biggest creatures to ever exist on Earth and they certainly earned their name which comes from the mythological titans of Greek mythology.
Allosaurus was first described by Othniel Marsh in 1877 and become one of the first well known dinosaurs. Marsh also named and gave the first description of the Apatosaurus (Brontosaurus) in that same year.
Stegosaurus was represented in the popular Transformers toy line and animated series as Snarl, an Autobot that could transform into a Stegosaurus form.
The name Brachiosaurus comes from Greek words meaning 'arm' and 'lizard'. The name refers to the interesting nature of Brachiosaurus legs which were longer at the front than the back.
